Great For: Individuals and organizations looking to start their first blog. Bloggers unhappy with their current blog and website developers looking to learn how to setup easy blogs. No previous experience necessary.

Format
The format will be a live screenshare with phone conference where you will participate as we setup a blog, register a domain name and discuss best practices when starting a blog. You will be able to submit questions by chat and there will be a phone conference line setup.
Learn how to setup your very own blog as well as essential blogging etiquette. We will be registering a blog at WordPress.com and parking a domain name on top.

What you need to attend
- Access to your email account
- Internet connected computer
- Computer speakers
- Long Distance or Skype – (you can use Skype’s monthly $3 plan)
- To fully participate, you will need to have $20.00 available on a credit card or Paypal account to complete this workshop. $8.00 will be for your domain name at GoDaddy and $10 will be to map the domain at WordPress.com. If you already have a domain name, please be sure you are familiar with signing in to your domain registrar.
Workshop Goal
This workshop is focused on providing hands on experience in setting up a blog. Domain names can seem like an afterthought but become important when visitor traffic and Google Page Rank come into play.
