Classroom instruction doesn’t work for everyone.  Sitting there for hours while someone points at a presentation does not give you the opportunity to gain hands on experience.  An instructor may not stop the class to answer your question leaving you feeling frustrated!

Small Class Sizes

Our workshops focus on your learning.  This means you receive hands-on training and class sizes are small (usually 12 per workshop) so you are guaranteed to get help every step of the way!

Meet Your Instructor

Adria Richards, Organic Technology Consultant

Adria Richards is the founder of Aden Networks. She is an Organic Technology Consultant who helps business owners generate more revenue in less time. Adria works with individuals and organizations to help them better understand how to use blogs and technology.

Adria started teaching technology classes in 2007 which included Comptia A+ hardware certification, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Internet Resources and Intro to Windows XP. She developed the curriculum, taught and provided followup for questions. Adria became frustrated with slow computers being used at the local community education programs. She reached out to several local organizations about having online classes but none seemed too interested. With the popularity of her live lifestream show at AskAdria.com where people could ask questions on a specific technology topics in real time, she began to hold workshops in March 2009 to test the waters. Freshworkshops launched June 18th, 2009 to offer in-depth, live and hands-on training!

Combining her 10 years of technical expertise with a passion for empowering people, Adria turns complex topics into everyday examples that make technology fun and effective. Adria holds MCSA, MCDST and A+ certifications and is currently pursing her Comptia Certified Technical Trainer.

Keeping open source free

Supporting open source is important to Fresh Workshops and is in line with the founder’s code of ethics. This means we will strive to keep many of these classes free so people can get up to speed on the wonderful world of open source.
