Are the classes live?
Answer
Yes and no. We offer both live and recorded training. All students who take a live, paid training get lifetime access to the recording.
For example, the Build Your Own WordPress Workshop is delivered two ways:
- Live
- Recorded
Either way, we show you how to use technology and setup your website with help and support!

How does ‘Live Training’ work?
Answer
You register and pay for a training. It can be a single class or multiple sessions. Each session is a combination of presentation and hand-on training about developing a business presence online using technology. The instructor spends time getting to know the goals of the students so relevant examples can be used.
Based on the training you sign up for, you may have access to the instructor via email and phone to ask questions and get remote support.
After the workshop is complete, you have access to the recorded sessions.
How does ‘One-on-One Training & Help’ work?
Answer
- Phone call
- Screen sharing tool
- One-on-one coaching/training
Do you offer recorded video training?
Answer
We do!
This is something new we’re offering due the demand from students!
You will register for the workshop and have access to the series of recordings from the most recent, live workshop.
Are the classes local or online?
Answer
Both, we offer training in San Francisco and will travel to your company to hold customized training in addition to our online classes.
What do I need for class?
Answer
How long to do I have access to the recordings for?
Answer
You will have lifetime access to the recordings unless otherwise noted.
Can I use the domain name I already own for the WordPress website workshop?
Answer
For the training, you will register a new domain name through GoDaddy. Students register .info domains which are just $2.00 at GoDaddy because the purpose of the class is to help them learn to setup a website using WordPress and in the past, it’s been problematic when people use their own domains. One because it’s with a different domain registrar and the configuration of the domain (the DNS) is different or because they already have a site attached with hosting. So, you would sign up with a new domain for the workshop.
Do you show the trainings on a Mac or PC?
Answer
We alternate between the two platforms. Since most of our trainings focus on web applications that run in browser, the bigger question comes up as to which browser to use. We recommend Chrome or Firefox.
