How to Connect Your GoDaddy Domain To Your cPanel Hosting Space

In this tutorial video, we demonstrate how to change your domain name DNS records to direct web traffic to your hosting company, keeping the DNS with your domain registrar.

There are at least two ways to point your domain name to your hosting space. The first and most common way is to direct your DNS nameservers to your hosting company.

While this is fast, it limits what you can do with your domain because you are now depending on your hosting company to offer advanced DNS control The second way is to keep your DNS parked with your domain registrar and only point the web traffic to your hosting company.

We are doing the second one because it allows for much more flexibility later on when you want to add domain email, subdomains and do forwarding.
